Crossroads Clubhouse Advocacy/Peer Support and Social Recreation/Consumers:

Crossroads Clubhouse provides a day service for Mental Health Consumers. Clubhouse operates on a work ordered day where members involve themselves in one of five work units which are: reception, kitchen, communications, transitional employment and the garden and maintenance unit. The peer support, along with staff encouragement, enhances member's skills and strengths in terms of employment, self-esteem and assertion. Arahura Trust is the managing auspice of Clubhouse and since we undertook this role Clubhouse has gone from strength to strength primarily in terms of model development and now has international certification. (Clubhouse has attended conferences and training in Australia, and most recently, Finland).

The ability to action projects relies on grants and donations.
