How do I join?
Step One - A Tour of the Clubhouse
Call (09) 376 4267 or email us at admin@crossroadsclubhouse.org.nz to arrange a tour. On the 15 minute tour we will show you around the Clubhouse, give you an idea of what you can expect, and complete a referral. If you like what you see you may choose to go to step two - orientation.
Step Two - Orientation
If you decide to become a member we will invite you back for an orientation visit lasting about two hours, making sure you know the purpose of Crossroads and how it works. During this time you'll meet other Clubhouse members, the staff team and join in the work of one of the units.
Membership at Crossroads Clubhouse
Is absolutely free!!
Is for your entire working life (new members should be between 18 and 65)
Is open to anyone with a diagnosed mental illness that lives in the ADHB catchment area
Requires a referral. This may come from a community mental health centres (CMHCs), community support services, your G.P. or by referring yourself
Our Mission
Our aim is to improve the quality of life for people experiencing mental health challenges through community based support. The Trust is a vehicle to improve the quality of life of people.
Story Snippets
Firstly, I'm thrilled to be working the mental health field, but more specifically for Arahura. Mostly because I can use my life experience of living with a mental illness. This means I am valued for my experience in the same way someone may be valued for their study in their field.
