How does the Clubhouse work?

The Clubhouse is open Monday to Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 9am-3pm. Members are involved, at their choice, in the work units of the Clubhouse. For more information about why we use work to support mental well-being please check out The benefits of being a member.

The work units at Crossroads Clubhouse are:

Run Reception

Typing and Clerical activities

Maintain member database

Celebration of Birthdays

Daily Job Search

Job Readiness (CVs, applications etc)

Arrange training courses

Job Club

Auditing Clubhouse finances

Orientation of new members

Tours for new members and visitors

Outreach to members (letters and phone calls)

Outreach to the Community (presentation team)

Ongoing support for employed members

Manage Clubhouse employment programmes

Support in the community (WINZ, housing etc)

Auditing and distributing petty cash

Arrange monthly dinners and social rec. days

Prepare Lunch

Clean up after Lunch

Menu Planning

Shopping

Maintaining the Clubhouse buildings and vehicles

Repairs and replacements for Clubhouse equipment

Running Tea and Coffee Bar

Cater for Clubhouse events

Budgeting

Balancing the till and accounting

Healthy Active Lifestyle Programs

Working in the vegetable garden
